Local Missions
We do a lot in and for our local communities. Much of what we do is dependent with whom you are talking. We empower our members to reach out in a variety of ways. From volunteering at the local shelters, pantries and ministries, to reaching out to struggling families and providing a variety of assistance. But here, you can discover just a few of the things we are involved with in our local community.
Survivor Outreach Support
SOS, a ministry of Ney Church of God, works directly with survivors of human trafficking and Abuse. We seek to fill in the gaps left behind by other agencies to provide financial support, assist with referrals to services and facilitate goal setting.
LifeWise
Our church is heavily invested in our local LifeWise. Not only do we have several members volunteering with the academy, we sponsor several programs including sending the 5th graders to the Ark Encounter free of charge for the last 2 years.
Back to School Bash
Each year we look forward to helping local students start off the new year right! We open our doors and provide backpacks filled with back to school supplies including folders, pens, pencils, notebooks and more. Then we open our sanctuary filled with cloths to give away.
This has been a great ministry over the last 6 years. We have given away over 1,000 backpacks, and we are still going!
Blood Drive
Every couple months we host the Red Cross to come in an hold a blood drive. We are excited to give the space and encourage everyone to give blood. Your donation can make a huge impact in the lives of others.
